It’s a Great Day in the South Bay … when you listen to a legend

I’ll admit I’ve almost started to take for granted the fact that we have easy access here in there South Bay to all the arts and culture the greater Los Angeles area has to offer.

We’re all so busy with work and school and life that concerts feel like a luxury. But I have 3 music students in my house and this past month, not one but 3 amazing concerts came along that we could’t miss: Eric Clapton at The Forum, John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl and and Trombone Shorty at the Avila Beach Concert Series. I feel so lucky that we live in a place where music legends are happy to perform and come here often—and that my kids have such a great music education thanks to all the resources of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District that they actually appreciate these artists.
